In the realm of politics, several significant developments have taken place recently. The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) is considering a rule to require proof of citizenship for federal voter registration, a move that has sparked debate among various parties. Notably, over 9,100 members of the Action organization have voiced their support for this rule by submitting comments.

Meanwhile, the EAC also holds the power to require documentary proof of citizenship for federal elections. This potential change has been met with mixed reactions, with no clear indication as to which specific members of parliament support or oppose the initiative at this time.

In other legislative news, the House has passed the Stop Illegal Entry Act of 2025 (H.R. 3486), a bill aimed at strengthening border security and imposing tougher penalties on illegal crossers. The Action organization's influence was instrumental in the passage of this bill.

Elsewhere, the Social Security Child Protection Act of 2025 (H.R. 5348) has been introduced. This act provides an essential safeguard for children under the age of 14 whose Social Security number (SSN) cards are lost or stolen during the mailing process. The Action organization has submitted a letter of support for this act, along with the Improving Social Security's Service to Victims of Identity Theft Act.

On the educational front, PragerU, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, continues to promote American values through short educational videos. A notable video titled 'What Does It Mean to Be Free?' challenges the notion that freedom means 'doing whatever you want.' Presented by Sean McDowell, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology, the video is designed for people of all ages.

For those interested in history, Hillsdale College offers a free nine-lecture course on the ancient Greek cities of Athens and Sparta.

In California, residents are urged to leave a message for Governor Newsom to veto AB 495. This bill, opposed by the Action organization due to its expansion of the use of the Caregiver's Authorization Affidavit and potential risks to children and grandchildren, is currently under consideration.

Lastly, the Action organization is accepting volunteers to become Action Delegates. For more information, please visit their website or call (855) 809-6976.
