Facing the Polls in Neukirchen-Vluyn:

The race for the city council is heating up with a mix of seasoned and new contenders vying for a seat. The diverse pool of candidates includes: Elke Buttkereit, Günter Zeller, Susanne Scheil, Karl-Heinz Degen, Tim Ratajczak, Klaus Hinterding, Thorsten Bender, Simon Aarse, Claudia Wilps, Marco Jakob, Ulrich Leikefeld, Sandro Bartolucci, Miro Savic, Patrick Zvar, Rita Maria Rzyski, Marita Hornsmann, Herbert Omlor, Dr. Horst Baier, Wolfgang Sewing, and Jan Bergmann. While Günter Zeller and Claudia Wilps ran as a team, with Zeller planning to step down in 2027, allowing Wilps to take his place.

OV chair, Rita Maria Rzyski, expressed her anticipation, stating, "We've gathered a diverse team that reflects the heart and soul of Neukirchen-Vluyn. Our goal is to govern with the people, for the people."

Aiming for a Better Neukirchen-Vluyn:

The candidates have spent days brainstorming and outlining measures to enhance the city's quality of life. These areas include: Living in harmony, Participation, Mobility, Sustainability, Cleanliness, Economy, and Housing.

"We're crystal clear about our objectives for Neukirchen-Vluyn's residents and our approach in making it happen. Our manifesto invites citizens to share their opinions and work together for a brighter future," said Rita Maria Rzyski. The candidates have shared their vision on seven flyers and a comprehensive online program on the official website, as well as providing additional information through social media channels. Rzyski concluded, "We believe that strength lies in unity and invite everyone to join us on this journey."
