Spartak has proposed the largest bid for the defender from APL
Davinson Sanchez's contract with Tottenham Hotspur expires next summer, and the Colombian defender is currently weighing up his options. One of the most appealing offers on the table comes from Moscow's Spartak, who have tabled an offer of €15 million for the transfer of Sanchez.
Sanchez has been a mainstay at Tottenham Hotspur since joining the club in 2017, playing a total of 206 matches, including the 2022/23 season. However, this season has been marred by injuries, with Sanchez only managing to play 24 matches, 18 of which were in the Premier League.
Despite the setbacks, Sanchez has not scored a goal or provided an assist this season. Interestingly, it was reported that he has scored 5 goals for Tottenham Hotspur in the past.
Other European clubs, including Spanish sides Betis and Sevilla, Turkish club Galatasaray, and potentially others, are also interested in Sanchez. However, the offer from Spartak remains the most financially appealing for Tottenham Hotspur among other interested parties.
It's important to note that the transfer of Sanchez to Spartak is still contingent on the defender's agreement. Sanchez himself has expressed an interest in playing in Russia, but a final decision has yet to be made.
As the transfer window approaches, the fate of Davinson Sanchez at Tottenham Hotspur remains uncertain. Fans will be eagerly waiting to see where the defender will end up next season.
