Spare Time Discussions on Literature - Sharing Experiences, Debating Ideas within Reading Community
The Caritas Association for the City of Castrop-Rauxel e.V. is hosting a series of monthly "Book Talks" events, welcoming book enthusiasts to share their love for literature. These gatherings will take place at the Holy Cross Community Center, Wilhelmstr. 56 in 44575 Castrop-Rauxel.
Each event runs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, offering a chance to delve into the captivating world of books together. The first gathering is scheduled for October 2, 2025, and will take place on the 1st Thursday of every month thereafter.
Participants are encouraged to bring a book of their choice to present in the group. This provides an opportunity for everyone to share their favourite reads and discuss their thoughts and impressions about the books. Those who wish to participate are also welcome to read a few pages from their book at their leisure.
The "Book Talks" provide a cozy setting for these discussions, creating a friendly and engaging atmosphere for all attendees.
