Sowore Accuses Wike of Criminal Activities, Suggests Tinubu's Minister Belongs at the International Criminal Court (ICC)

In a surprising turn of events, a heated exchange took place between the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, during the flag-off of the Arterial Road N1 construction in Wuye, Abuja.

The exchange, which took place on verified social media accounts, saw both parties airing their grievances publicly. Sowore, a human rights activist and convener of the #RevolutionNow Movement, accused Wike of gross misconduct, alleging corruption, land grabbing, and violence during his time in office.

Wike, in response, berated Sowore over his description of President Bola Tinubu as a "criminal." He also accused Sowore of robbing the people of Rivers State. Wike further stated that Sowore should count himself fortunate to have a president who respects the rule of law.

Sowore, in his defence, suggested that Wike should be tried at The Hague International Criminal Court for the alleged massacring of Igbos at Obigbo and the events mentioned in the statements by Omoyele Sowore took place during the flag-off of the Arterial Road N1 construction in Wuye, Abuja.

Sowore also wrote that Wike called President Tinubu "criminal" and suggested that Tinubu should have assassinated Sowore for his criticism. Wike has not yet responded to this allegation.

It is worth noting that there are no search results providing information about which organization Sowore belonged to before his candidacy as president of the African Action Congress.

These developments mark a significant escalation in the ongoing feud between the two high-profile figures in Nigerian politics. The public exchange serves as a reminder of the intense political rivalries and debates that continue to shape the country's political landscape.
