As a child, Oleg hailed from the village of Syrotenky in Poltava region. Isolated in his rural upbringing, he found solace and purpose at the National University "Poltava Polytechnic named after Y. Kondratyuk." He graduated as an economist, a testament to his intellectual prowess, but his true passion lay elsewhere.

In civilian life, he honed his skills as a locksmith, repairing wheeled vehicles at LLC "Artemiy-Plus." When night fell, music became his escape—strumming the guitar and pouring out his soul in captivating songs.

Upon the unprovoked full-scale Russian invasion, Oleg answered the call to defend his country and loved ones, serving in the 407th Separate Rifle Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As the commander of a machine gun platoon, he displayed unwavering dedication to his comrades and the country he loved.

His wife, tearfully reminiscing, described him as an exceptional father, a devoted husband, and a kind soul who always put the needs of others before his own. He was a willing helper, and his beautiful guitar playing and soulful singing brought joy to all who listened.

Oleg was laid to rest in his hometown, where his parents, Natalia and Mykola, his wife, Nadiya, their son Bohdan, and sister Olga anticipated his return.

"Frantsuz" was more than just a soldier. He was a guardian, a warrior, and a symbol of Ukraine's unwavering spirit. He will be forever remembered as a hero, whose sacrifice solidifies the resilience and pride of the Ukrainian people.
