Addressing the Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, the South Korean leader expressed a desire for a stable and forward-looking relationship between the two East Asian powerhouses.

Akihisa Nagashima, a special advisor to Shigeru Ishiba, was in attendance and delivered a speech, stressing the vital need for close communication and expanded cooperation between the two nations. Nagashima also held talks with senior officials from the Lee administration, including national security adviser Wi Sung-lac, to discuss enhancing cooperation between them.
