SONORO GOLD RESPONDS TO FALSE ALLEGATIONS REGARDING PERMIT FOR CERRO CALICHE PROJECT

Sonoro Gold Corp. has addressed recent claims about its Cerro Caliche gold project in Mexico. The company denies reports that its Environmental Impact Statement (MIA) was rejected or that it failed to share key details. Authorities are still reviewing the project’s environmental report.

The Mexican federal agency SEMARNAT is currently assessing the Cerro Caliche project’s MIA. This review process is standard for mining developments in the region. Sonoro Gold Corp. has confirmed its submission remains under evaluation.

The company has also dismissed allegations of non-compliance or hidden information. In a statement, officials reiterated that all required disclosures have been made on time. No formal rejection of the permit has been issued by SEMARNAT.

Sonoro’s response comes after speculation about delays or regulatory issues. The firm maintains that its operations follow Mexican environmental and reporting laws.

The Cerro Caliche project’s future depends on SEMARNAT’s ongoing review. If approved, the gold mine could proceed under existing regulations. For now, the company continues to cooperate with authorities while rejecting claims of wrongdoing.
