The penultimate race day of the 2025 season will take place at Hoppegarten Racecourse on Saturday, 3rd October. This event, known as the "Renntag der Wirtschaft" (Race Day of the Economy), holds a double significance as it coincides with the German Unity Day celebrations.
The main attraction of the day is the 'aveato Prize', an Allowance II race over 1800 meters, with a prize money of 11,500 Euros. This significant race will see some of the top contenders, including Velato, ridden by Lilli Marie Engels, and Va bene, ridden by Leon Wolff.
One of the main competitors, Romance of Lips, a four-year-old filly, will be ridden by Micki Cadeddu in the 'aveato Prize'. Romance of Lips has been undefeated in her races, and spectators are eagerly awaiting her performance.
Political guests are expected to attend the race day at Hoppegarten. Representatives from regional politics and business will be in attendance to get an impression of the racecourse's importance, tasks, and potential. The race day owner, Gerhard Schoeningh, made this statement, emphasising the event's significance.
