Son of Lindsay Lohan believed she was trapped within the television screen.
Lindsay Lohan, the 39-year-old actress who rose to fame in the early 2000s with comedies like "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls," recently had a memorable experience with her two-year-old son, Luai, during her appearance on "Good Morning America."
Lohan, who currently resides in Dubai, appreciates the city's strict privacy laws that protect her from paparazzi, a stark contrast to her previous experiences in Los Angeles and New York.
Recently, Lohan has been busy promoting the upcoming sequel to "Freaky Friday," titled "Freakier Friday." She performed the song "Pink Slip" on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" on July 28, 2025, and shared that she had to re-learn how to play guitar for the performance. Lohan has also been participating in the press tour for "Freakier Friday," channeling styles inspired by her earlier work in "The Parent Trap" films.
On the day of her "Good Morning America" appearance, Luai was with Lohan's in-laws. When Lohan appeared on the screen, Luai, who was watching the show, shouted, "Mommy, come out!" Lohan found the incident amusing and laughed about it on the show.
In addition to Lohan, the "Freakier Friday" sequel will star Jamie Lee Curtis, among others. The film is set to be released in Germany on August 7.
Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas announced the birth of their son Luai in the summer of 2023. As Luai grows older, Lohan expressed concerns that he might get confused more often due to his increased observance.
Lohan's son's birthday celebration had a dinosaur theme, and he even had chickens to pet at the event. Despite her busy schedule, Lohan seems to be managing a balance between her career and her family life.
