Solingen's Biggest Sing-Along: 'Solingen Sings!' Hits Ritterstraße on June 22nd
Mark your calendars for an outdoor sing-along extravaganza! 'Solingen sings!' is happening on Saturday, June 22nd, at the Ritterstraße sports field as part of the Südstadt Festival. The event is free and open to all, with no prior registration needed.
The event is organized by the Bürgerverein Zietenstraße, a local citizens' association, in collaboration with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen (ACK) and the Evangelical Church Circle Solingen. It starts at 5:00 PM and promises a lively mix of hits, from Mark Foster to ABBA. You'll also enjoy the summer church song 'Geh aus, mein Herz, und suche Freud' and 'Tage wie diese' by the 'Hosen'.
The Südstadt Festival, where the sing-along takes place, is organized by the Evangelical Church in Dorp and other partners. It's spread across Dorp Church, Gasthaus Schaaf, and the Ritterstraße sports field. If you can't make it this time, don't worry! There are more 'Solingen sings!' events planned for October 3rd at the Gräfrather market square and December 22nd at the Lutherkirche.
