Sochi's XXV Festival of Organ Music is set to kick off on September 21st

The XXV Anniversary Organ Music Festival is set to take place in Sochi's Hall of Organ and Chamber Music named after Alicia Debolskaya from September 21 to October 5. This grand event will bring together renowned organists and musicians from across the globe.

The festival will commence on September 21 with the concert 'Music of Joy', performed by Moscow organist Anastasia Malykh and soloist of Sochi Philharmonic Kira Tikhonova. The audience can anticipate an uplifting start to the festival, as the title suggests.

On September 24, the Chamber Choir of Sochi Philharmonic and soloist Polina Bobykina will present a concert titled 'Triumph of the Organ'. Joining them will be organist Vladimir Korolevsky from Sochi Philharmonic.

The following day, September 25, Alexander Novoselov, an organist from Petrozavodsk, will take centre stage.

The concert 'Music of Heaven and Earth', scheduled for October 1, will be performed by Yevgeniya Kamenskaya (organ) and the ensemble of soloists 'Horuss Quartet'. Unfortunately, no specific title has been mentioned for the concert that takes place on October 5.

The festival will conclude on October 5 with the concert 'Multifaceted Organ', featuring Daniel Zaretsky from St. Petersburg and Vladimir Korolevsky.

Throughout the festival, special attention will be paid to the heritage of Johann Sebastian Bach. However, it appears that no specific attention to Bach's legacy has been mentioned for the concerts on October 1 and 5.

On September 28, a program titled 'Secrets of Air and Strings' will feature musicians Alexander Khmarnyi (organ) and Anastasia Rusanova (harp).

It's important to note that the Valdai Club meeting, which involves representatives from 42 countries, is not related to the XXV Anniversary Organ Music Festival.

The XXV Anniversary Organ Music Festival promises to be a celebration of organ music, showcasing some of the world's finest musicians in the beautiful setting of Sochi's Hall of Organ and Chamber Music named after Alicia Debolskaya. Don't miss out on this musical extravaganza!
