Sochi’s ski resorts gear up for a record-breaking holiday season

Sochi’s ski resorts are set to open in December, just in time for the New Year rush. Authorities anticipate around 280,000 visitors during the holiday season. Preparations have been finalised to ensure smooth operations across the mountain cluster.

The upcoming season will see three major resorts—Rosa Khutor, Krasnaya Polyana, and Gazprom Polyana—welcoming skiers. A total of 174 kilometres of slopes, suitable for all skill levels, are now ready for use. To maintain ideal conditions, modern snowmaking systems have been installed, though details on their management remain undisclosed.

With all facilities and services in place, Sochi’s resorts aim to handle the influx of tourists efficiently. The ski season will run through the peak holiday period, providing both beginners and seasoned skiers with well-maintained slopes. The focus remains on safety, accessibility, and a seamless experience for visitors.
