Sochi’s Khostinsky District faces water cuts after major pipeline rupture
Residents of several streets and gardening associations in Sochi's Khostinsky District are set to experience water supply disruptions today. Repairs are scheduled to be completed by 8:00 PM, with affected areas including Piatigorskaya, Yasnogorskaya, and other streets. The emergency involved a 200 mm diameter pipeline that ruptured on November 16 along Klenovaya Street.
Eleven streets and three gardening associations - Frontovik, Shirokoye Pole, and Agro - are expected to be impacted. Water is being temporarily supplied by truck to 2/23 'M' Yana Fabriciusa Street in the Mercato residential complex. The exact cause of the rupture is under investigation, but local authorities are working to restore water supply as soon as possible.
The water main repairs are expected to be completed by 8:00 PM, with affected residents advised to plan accordingly. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
