Sochi's Khosta district faces water emergency after pipeline rupture

Sochi's water utility has reported an emergency on its infrastructure network in the Khosta district of the resort city. Residents of Plastunka village may experience water supply disruptions along Japaridze Street, Leselidze Street, and Brigadny Lane.

Preparatory work is currently underway, with repairs scheduled to begin tomorrow, February 24. Water deliveries will be arranged for residents upon request.

The damaged pipeline is located in a forested area, and repair efforts are complicated by adverse weather conditions, difficult terrain, and the presence of wild animals, according to the water utility.
