Soccer Aid 2025 Lineup: Wayne Rooney Teams Up with Tyson Fury; Veteran Manchester United Stars Regather at Old Trafford

Tonight at Old Trafford, the charity football smackdown known as Soccer Aid is underway, and it's not to be missed! Ever since its inception in 2006, this massive event has been raising millions for UNICEF each year. This year is no exception, with a parade of shining stars from the world of sports and beyond.

England Squad

Former Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, is back at his old stomping grounds to manage the England squad, joined by ex-coach Harry Redknapp and boxing champion Tyson Fury in the dugout. Rooney himself has also laced up his boots to join the action, along with renowned players like Paul Scholes, Jermain Defoe, Joe Hart, and Gary Neville, who'll be defending the Man United turf once more. The Lionesses trio of Steph Houghton, Toni Duggan, and Jill Scott will bring their A-game, and there's even a few non-footballers joining the fun – talkSPORT's Alex Brooker, Sam Quek, and Soccer Aid regulars Sir Mo Farah and Paddy McGuinness.

World XI Team

Peter Schmeichel, another United legendary goalkeeper, leads the World XI team from the sidelines. Emmett J Scanlan and Martin Compston round out the management crew. With a powerhouse squad including Edwin van der Sar, Nemanja Vidic, Leonardo Bonucci, and Robbie Keane, this team is sure to give England a run for their money. Keep an eye out for former Australian international Harry Kewell, Carlos Tevez, andada Nadim from the women’s football scene. The dynamo Noah Beck will also be back after an impressive debut, and Scottish actor Martin Compston makes his return to the Soccer Aid stage, a regular participant for years now.
