Hot Weather in Krasnodar Awaits, Not So Soon Says Meteorologist

With the recent rain showers, the heat in Krasnodar has somewhat subsided, but temperatures are on the rise again. Metrologist, candidate of geographical sciences, and honorary worker of the Russian Hydrometeorological Service, Yuri Tkachenko, shares insights on when the region can expect the real summer heat.
Tourists and locals in Kuban can rest easy as Yuri predicts mild temperatures in the near future.
"The temperature in Kuban for early June should be quite pleasant," - says Tkachenko. "This week will be a bit cool, and we won't see temperatures above 30 degrees until the weekend."
Looking at forecasts from the Hydrometeorological Center, Yuri expects the temperature to reach +30...+31 degrees by the end of the first week of summer. However, the intense heat of summer is still on hold.
For comparison, Yuri points to historical data, noting that the highest temperature ever recorded in Krasnodar was +36 degrees on June 8, 1969. As for the second decade of June, Tkachenko anticipates temperatures ranging from +27°C to +33°C, which he considers consistent with standard June indicators for the Krasnodar region.
So, while the region is not yet experiencing the sweltering heat of summer, residents and visitors can enjoy comfortable weather for at least two more weeks. The intense heat may still be on its way, as the majority of summer remains ahead.
