Feeling the Height of Adrenaline: The Petzl F.I.T. Workshop - A Thrilling Journey in the Sky!

Here's the lowdown on the high-octane events of the Petzl F.I.T. (Firefighting Intensive Days) Workshop, where thrills and knowledge went hand in hand! From May 20 to 22, this Petzl-organized annual extravaganza took center stage at the renowned FIS World Cup ski jumping hill in Willingen. A whopping 65 firefighting specialists and 12 instructors were part of this action-packed adventure, with a shared goal: To master the art of what we hope never to encounter in a crisis.

Yep, that's right - these daring souls are the high-angle rescue teams from German fire departments, specialists in rescuing folks from tricky, hard-to-reach locations. The workshop was brimming with challenges, such as saving people from a ski lift chair, steep terrains, and mind-blowing free-hanging abseiling from the 100-meter-high Skywalk Willingen!

The buzzing atmosphere of the Petzl F.I.T. Workshop is being shared with you - check out the comprehensive press release and visual content about this year's event:

  • Pulley systems: Mastering complex pulley systems for standout rescues.
