Small Christmas Market on Ehrenzeller Square on December 9th

A small Christmas market will take place in Altendorf on Tuesday, December 9th. The event runs from 3 pm to 6 pm at Ehrenzeller Square. Organisers promise festive activities, performances, and seasonal treats for visitors of all ages.

The Verkehrsverein Altendorf is behind the event, with Visnja Florijan serving as the main contact. District Council III has provided financial support to help bring the market to life.

The market will offer a mix of entertainment and shopping. St. Nicholas will attend, handing out small gift bags to children. Crafting activities and live singing will add to the festive atmosphere, while handmade items will be available for purchase.

Food and drink stalls will serve fragrant waffles, roasted peanuts, muffins, and candied apples. Warming beverages will also be on offer to keep visitors cosy in the winter air. The Germania Dance Guard Association will perform their latest show dance, adding a cultural touch to the celebrations.

The market provides a short but festive outing for locals and visitors. With performances, treats, and seasonal activities, it aims to bring holiday cheer to Altendorf. Organisers have kept the event compact, running for just three hours on December 9th.
