Slackline sensation Lukas Irmler, hailing from Bavaria, isn't your typical adrenaline junkie. Contrary to popular belief, he describes himself as an exceptionally cautious person. "Many folks assume I'm living life on the edge or mentally unstable. But honestly, I'm quite the opposite," Irmler revealed to the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" in a recent interview.
The 35-year-old sports enthusiast calls his abode the lively Bavarian city of Munich and makes a living from mastering the art of balancing and stretching the slackline at breathtaking heights. "I find comfort in scenarios that make others squirm," he added confidently.
Despite the jaw-dropping heights, Irmler remains unfazed by the inherent risks. "If something went awry, it's game over. Fortunately, the odds of something going wrong are incredibly slim," he said with a smile, his mother's frequent praise for his choice of job instead of motorcycling reverberating in his mind.
