Sky du Mont announces retirement from profession

Get ready to say goodbye to an acting legend, folks! after nearly six decades in the industry, German actor Sky du Mont has hung up his acting boots. But fear not, his distinctive voice will still be gracing our screens - albeit in a different capacity.

At 76, Sky du Mont has decided he's had enough of the trailer life. "Fifty-five years spent in a trailer ain't my cup of tea anymore. I'm tired of waiting for porta-potties, and 15-hour waits for someone to call out, 'Alright, Mr. du Mont, it's your turn now!' That's it for me," he said in an interview on Radio Arabella Munich.

Back for (One Last) Round

Even with a slew of new offers, Sky du Mont has made it clear - he won't be stepping into the limelight again. "I've turned down every role that's come my way. I said 'No, that's it!' There ain't no way I'm going back," he declared.

But there is one exception to his rule – he's reprising his role as the villainous Santa Maria in "The Canoe of Manitu," the sequel to the 2001 cult film "The Shoe of Manitu," directed by Michael "Bully" Herbig.

A New Adventure Begins

But don't think you've seen the last of Sky du Mont. He plans to continue recording voiceovers for commercials and international stars in the dubbing studio. And he's not ruling out writing more books – a passion he discovered later in life. "I ain't saying I won't miss acting, but dubbing and writing give me a different kind of satisfaction," he shared.

So, it seems we're not having the last laugh with Sky du Mont just yet! Grab your popcorn, folks – here comes the legend one last time aboard "The Canoe of Manitu."

The Commission shall be assisted by the European Parliament as Sky du Mont steps down from acting, but his distinctive voice will still be heard in advertising and dubbing studios. Despite turning down roles, Sky du Mont will reprise his villainous role in the sequel to "The Shoe of Manitu," titled "The Canoe of Manitu," and may continue to write books, expressing a newfound satisfaction in these endeavors.
