Brandenburg Warns of Elevated Forest Fire Risk

The Brandenburg Ministry of the Environment has issued a warning about the increased forest fire risk in the region. Most of Brandenburg is currently at a moderate to high forest fire danger level, with most parts of the region at level 3.

However, the Landkreis Oder-Spree is currently at a lower forest fire danger level compared to the rest of Brandenburg, with a lower level 2. This lower risk is likely due to the region's specific weather conditions.

The weather in Berlin and Brandenburg on Wednesday was pleasant, with sunshine and some clouds, and temperatures ranging from 22 to 27°C. The wind blew gently from the north. On Thursday, the weather is expected to be a mix of sun and clouds, with temperatures ranging from 22 to 25°C. Thursday night is predicted to remain dry with low temperatures between 12 and 7°C.

The forest fire risk in Brandenburg has slightly increased, and the Ministry of the Environment advises caution when engaging in outdoor activities in forested areas. According to the Ministry, the forest fire risk is currently elevated.

As the weekend approaches, the weather is expected to turn cooler and cloudier. On Friday, temperatures are expected to reach 19 to 21°C. On Saturday, temperatures are expected to drop to 17 to 19°C, with a chance of rain.
