Skoda Brings Power Boost and Longer Rides to the Refreshed Enyaq and Coupé

After nearly four years of production, Skoda is sprucing up its Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé with some technical tweaks and minimal visual enhancements. The electric crossovers and their slinkier siblings have seen major upgrades under the hood, including more power, extended range, and fancy new software. The revamped models have ditched their iV suffix and can now be identified by their subtle alterations and distinct new name.

The entry-level Enyaq 60 version, a hatchback only available at its base price of €44,200, comes standard with a heat pump, reversing camera, and front and rear parking sensors. This model boasts a 58.0 kWh battery and a single motor delivering 180 horsepower. The vehicle’s combined range is an impressive 398 kilometers.

Stepping up to the Enyaq 85 (also available as a Coupe) brings 286 horsepower (an 82-horsepower boost over the previous Enyaq iV 80). Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, the 2.3-tonner now maxes out at 180 km/h instead of the previous 160 km/h. The 85x version tops both of these, delivering one motor at each axle for all-wheel drive and offering a negligible tenth-of-a-second improvement in acceleration.

Maximum ranges have also improved, with the Enyaq 85x claiming 563 and 536 kilometers, respectively (depending on trim). Both versions now benefit from the 77 kWh battery and a sped-up charging capacity of up to 175 kW, contrasting the previous 135 kW.

Pricing for the 85, 85x, and RS trims starts at €48,900, €51,150, and €61,050, respectively. Those opting for the luxurious L&K listings can pick up the 85x version for €61,250.

Pre-heated battery

An investment of at least €61,050 grants access to the Skoda Enyaq RS. The all-wheel-drive beast now boasts 340 horsepower, an 8-minute improvement in charging time, and a top speed of 262 km/h. The SUV version promises a range of up to 537 kilometers, while the Coupé offers a staggering 543 kilometers. One exciting feature at this price point is the ability to pre-heat the battery, either manually or by selecting an HPC charger as the navigation destination.

Upgraded Software and Infotainment

A new generation of software brings a revamped user interface to the infotainment display, digital instrument cluster, and head-up display in the higher-tier 85, 85x, and RS variants. This user-friendly upgrade should make accessing your vehicle's functions a breeze. Three separate control surfaces now cover apps, vehicle settings, and the redesigned home screen, with create-your-own favorite buttons available to personalize your experience.

Skoda Enyaq and Coupé: Stepping into the Future of Electromobility

With its pool of updates, Skoda solidifies its commitment to electromobility. The marque's electric crossovers now deliver additional horsepower and extended ranges, gracing Skoda's lineup with increased allure. By incorporating new software and improved infotainment systems, Skoda coaxes its customers into a seamless driving experience that brings these enticing electric vehicles to the forefront of the automotive industry.
