Skier, 22, dies in avalanche near Verbier after off-piste tragedy
A skier has died after being caught in an avalanche near Verbier. The incident happened on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in an off-piste area below Les Attelas. Rescue teams rushed to the scene but could not save the 22-year-old victim.
