Sixth installment of Bottroper Football Discourse
On October 25, 2025, the Filmforum Bottrop (Blumenstraße 12-14) will play host to the 6th Bottroper Football Talk, an event designed to bring together football enthusiasts and industry professionals. Admission to this engaging gathering is just 5 euros, with 2 euros going to a worthy cause.
Among the notable figures expected to attend are Cedric Gottschalk, a regional league referee from Bottrop with years of experience in the higher amateur leagues, including the Regionalliga West. His expertise in the game will undoubtedly provide valuable insights during the discussions.
Another significant participant is Nico Petritt, a 21-year-old defensive player who recently joined VfB Bottrop this season. His transfer to the club is considered a coup for the black and whites due to his prior Regional League experience.
The 6th Bottroper Football Talk will also feature Soumiya Bouhadi, the first female head coach of a men's team in the city of Bottrop this season. Bouhadi, the head coach of VfL Grafenwald, brings a fresh perspective to the event, having previously served as a co-trainer for ex-national player David Odonkor.
Marcel Siwek, a 34-year-old coach on a Bottroper bench, will also be in attendance. After recently hanging up his football boots, Siwek has focused his energy on being an assistant coach for SV Fortuna Bottrop.
