Sixteen female competitors participating in the Three-Tower Cup in Einbeck, hailing from Organization of Sprint Clubs (OSC)
Over the weekend of August 24th and 25th, the Osnabrück Sports Club (OSC) made a significant impact at the 20th Three-Towers Cup figure skating competition held in Einbeck. A total of 16 clubs participated in the event, with OSC sending a strong contingent of 16 skaters.
The competition saw five skaters from OSC bringing home trophies, marking a successful outing for the club. Among the standout performers was Lia-Marleen Gafgen, who secured second place in her category. Gafgen, along with Paula Wessel, is a coach at OSC, adding to the club's pride.
Wessel also had a commendable performance, winning bronze in her category. She was joined by Vivien Artes, Viktoria Schwab, Lena-Marie Bergmann, and Nieke Klick, who also clinched bronze medals in their respective categories.
The young skaters of OSC also made their mark at the competition. The "minis" Lena Bergmann and Johanna Rademacher participated in their first competition, finishing in a respectable sixth place in the club rankings. Lena Bergmann also achieved a personal best by placing fourth in her category.
Other notable performances from OSC included Helena Kohl, who finished ninth in her category, and Mariella Brol, who placed 16th. Sarah Scheier and Liza Wilson finished fifth and eighth, respectively, in their categories, while Lena Unnewehr and Johanna Rademacher finished sixth and seventh, respectively. Leonie Koch and Lara Goppert also performed well, securing fourth and eighth places in their respective categories.
The placements secured by the OSC skaters were considered significant achievements for coaches Birgit Schröder and Paula Wessel, who have been instrumental in the club's success. The 20th Three-Towers Cup was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the OSC skaters and their coaches, promising a bright future for the club in figure skating.
