Compello Car Club Festival of Cars 2021: A Gathering of Extraordinary Cars in Melbourne
Get ready, car enthusiasts! The Compello Car Club is set to host the Festival of Cars next weekend in Melbourne, Australia. This much-anticipated event will take place in a 4000 square-metre warehouse at 1 Cochranes Rd, Moorabbin, from 9:30am to 2pm on 18 April.
The lineup for this year's Festival of Cars is nothing short of spectacular. Six extraordinary cars to look out for include the Ferrari F8, Aston Martin Vanquish S, Nissan R32 GT-R, and Porsche GT2 RS Clubsport.
The Ferrari F8, a successor to the Ferrari 488, will be the first of its kind to be seen in Australia at the Festival of Cars. The Aston Martin Vanquish S, made famous by the Bond film "Die Another Day", will also be present.
The Nissan R32 GT-R, nicknamed "Godzilla", will be showcased at the Festival of Cars. This iconic car was a game-changer in touring-car racing and even finished fourth at the Bathurst 12-Hour in 1993, further bolstering its reputation.
The Porsche GT2 on display at the Festival of Cars is a rare, high-performance production car with only 200 examples ever built. With a power output of 515kW and a price tag of approximately $2 million, it's sure to turn heads.
Two 1980s supercar icons, the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Testarossa, will be displayed together at the Festival of Cars.
In addition to these stunning vehicles, there will be over 125 supercars, sports, racing, and classic cars showcased at the event.
The AMG GTR Pro, a track-focused version of the AMG GTR, will also be on display. It comes with a four-litre twin-turbocharged engine and 430kW of power. Only 15 AMG GTR Pro cars have been allocated for delivery in Australia.
The Festival of Cars will not only feature these incredible cars but also boast 50 exhibition stalls and 25 trading stands.
This event is claimed to be the first under-cover car show since COVID-19 struck, making it a must-attend event for car enthusiasts. An exit parade featuring the cars will take place at 1pm.
