Six children, including an infant, endured gruesome living conditions in a secure storage unit, as shown in distressing photographs, allegedly at the hands of their own parents.

In a shocking turn of events, a Wisconsin couple, Charles Dupriest and Azyia Zielinski, are facing multiple neglect charges following the discovery of their six children living in a locked, filthy storage unit. The incident unfolded at a StorSafe facility in Milwaukee, where officers were initially called due to concerns of a child crying from inside a unit. Upon investigation, they found the couple's children, ranging from 2 months to 9 years old, living in deplorable conditions. The storage unit, identified as 'Unit 455', was found to be in disarray, containing only a sectional couch and a bare twin mattress. An orange bucket of urine was found in the middle of the dark room, the only light available to the children coming from a narrow crack beneath the garage-style door. The oldest child, aged nine, identified Dupriest and Zielinski as their parents and described being given 'whoopings' by Dupriest. On one occasion, he hit the child's mouth so hard it caused his lip to bleed. The child also described the responsibilities he was given to care for the other five children while their parents were away. Zielinski was interviewed and confessed to giving her children the bucket and owning the firearm found in the center console of their black Ford Expedition SUV. Dupriest, who is a registered sex offender, also faces an additional charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He told investigators he had slept in the storage unit but stopped after their dog damaged the truck. The complaint details interviews with several of the children, expressing fear and uncertainty about their situation. Dupriest, however, denied handling the gun and refused to provide DNA samples. This heart-wrenching incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of child welfare and the need for immediate action when concerns arise. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
