Sinner vs Tien in Beijing Men's Final; Gauff Faces Historic Lys in Women's Quarters

In the ongoing Beijing tennis tournament, two exciting quarter-finals are set to take place. On the men's side, Jannik Sinner, fresh from his semi-final win over Alex de Minaur, will face unseeded American Tien in the final. Meanwhile, in the women's draw, Coco Gauff has secured her spot in the quarter-finals after defeating Belinda Bencic.

Eva Lys, ranked 66th, has made history by reaching her first quarter-final in a WTA 1000 event. She achieved this feat by defeating McCartney Kessler. Lys will now face Gauff in the quarter-finals. Gauff, on the other hand, has already qualified for the WTA Finals in Saudi Arabia with her last-16 victory.

Sinner, who has only lost once on Beijing's centre Diamond Court to Carlos Alcaraz, is now one victory away from his second title in Beijing. In the semi-finals, he faced Daniil Medvedev, who retired due to injury and was given a code violation for lack of effort. Tien, his final opponent, is the second-youngest man to reach the Beijing final after Rafael Nadal.

The Beijing tennis tournament is heating up with exciting matches ahead. Sinner and Gauff, both in impressive form, will look to secure their respective victories, while Lys aims to continue her historic run. The final is set to be a thrilling encounter between Sinner and the young American Tien.
