Despite the elaborate setup, it wasn't a real wedding. As it turns out, the trip to Sin City wasn't just any ordinary vacation. A camera crew, on hand to capture the fun, asked if they'd like to witness a wedding ceremony. The impromptu invitation led to a unique experience. "Elvis showed up, my dad got a bouquet - we knew something was up," Joelina explained in a voice-over. They were indeed sent to the altar, although the ceremony remained symbolic rather than official.

Although they "walked down the aisle" in a full-blown ceremony, legal matrimony remained out of the picture. To make things official in the U.S., an official stamp from the office would have been necessary, a detail the couple purposely omitted. Still, Joelina expressed a desire for a proper proposal and a legal ceremony, "Sweetheart, if you're listening..."

"I'd never get married without my mom by my side," she had stated, emphasizing the importance of familial presence.
