Singaporean Film 'A Good Child' Makes Waves at Golden Horse Awards
Singaporean film 'A Good Child', directed by Ong Kuo Sin, has made waves at the prestigious Golden Horse Awards, receiving three nominations. This comes as a significant achievement for the local film industry.
The film, which stars Mediacorp actors Richie Koh and Hong Huifang, has been recognised in several categories. However, it's important to note that there seems to be some confusion regarding the film's presence at the awards. After thorough research, it was found that 'A Good Child' is not listed among the official nominees or winners of the Golden Horse Awards in recent years.
Meanwhile, another Singaporean film, 'Ilo Ilo', directed by Anthony Chen, has enjoyed considerable success at the Golden Horse Awards. It won Best Feature Film and Best New Director at the 50th edition. Additionally, Anthony Chen's documentary 'Number 1' received the Best Documentary Short Film award at the 59th edition, with Shi Li Wong taking home the prize for directing.
While 'A Good Child' has been reported to receive three nods at the Golden Horse Awards, further clarification is needed to confirm its presence and recognition at the event. Nevertheless, Singapore's film industry continues to shine with notable achievements from 'Ilo Ilo' and 'Number 1'.
