"Silbie's 100k Light Jamboree": Florian Silbereisen's Heartfelt Tribute to "Sparrow of Avignon"

For the 20th time, the jovial presenter and musician, Florian Silbereisen (42), hosted his "100k Light Jamboree" on a Saturday night (December 2). Stars, like German sensations Barbara Schöneberger (49), Thomas Anders (60), Andrea Berg (57), Roland Kaiser (71), and French sensation Mireille Mathieu (77), graced the stage. Silbereisen held a special regard for Mathieu, who'd been his "good luck charm" since the launch of his television career.

Emotionally addressing his lucky charm, Silbereisen thanked her using his beloved accordion, and even performed a duet on the Christmas classic "Heidschi Bumbeidschi." Mathieu had been a steadfast supporter during Silbie's early days, when many questioned his abilities.

The show kicked off with a minor wardrobe malfunction. Presenter, Barbara Schöneberger, sported a lavish red dress, but eventually, a tear in the costume material resulted in a quick wardrobe change. Rather than donning her replacement dress, Schöneberger opted to keep her apron on while whipping up Christmas delicacies.

Guido Maria Kretschmer (58), reading the Christmas tale "The Lonely Top," nearly ran into a fire hazard himself. The designer stood near a real candle during his portion of the show, coming alarmingly close to setting himself ablaze. Thankfully, the presenter warned him in the nick of time.

A strange gag gift, "Olaf with the eyepatch," was presented to Andy Borg (63) by Silbereisen. As a fervent incense smoker, this addition to his already impressive collection of 200 pieces, was gratefully accepted.
