In a significant administrative move, the Jammu and Kashmir government has announced the transfer and posting of 134 officials, effective immediately.

The orders for this administrative reshuffle were issued by the Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, at the behest of the Jammu and Kashmir government. According to the order, the transfers were made to serve the best interests of the administration.

Among those transferred included high-ranking officials such as special secretaries, secretaries, commissioners, director generals, managing directors, and directors.

One notable transferee is Bashir Ahmad Dar, who was serving as Managing Director of the J&K Projects Construction Corporation Ltd. He has been posted as Secretary of the J&K Public Service Commission to fill a vacancy.

Rajinder Singh Tara, the Director General of Youth Services and Sports, is now the Controller of Legal Metrology. Nitu Gupta, who held a position in the Finance Department, has been transferred to serve as Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department. Smita Sethi, who served as Secretary for Industries and Commerce, is now the Commissioner of Food and Drug Administration. Anuradha Gupta, who was previously the Controller of Legal Metrology, has taken over as the Director General of Youth Services and Sports.

Mathora Masoom, the Special Secretary of Tourism, has been transferred to serve as Managing Director of the J&K Financial Corporation, while Shafat Sultan, who is currently awaiting adjustment orders in the General Administration Department, will fill Masoom's previous role as Special Secretary of Tourism. Abdul Hafiz Shah has been assigned as the Special Secretary of Information Technology.

Musheer Ahmed, the Special Secretary of Social Welfare, will now serve as the Mission Director of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), J&K. Nawab Din, Regional Director of Survey and Land Records, has been posted as the Custodian General of J&K. Gulzar Ahmad Dar, the Special Secretary of School Education, is now the Special Secretary of Planning, Development and Monitoring, while Mohammad Mumtaz Ali, Director of Rural Development, Jammu, takes over as the Director of Tribal Affairs, J&K.

Other notable transfers include Rishpal Singh, who now serves as Special Secretary of Industries and Commerce, Kishori Lal, who has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of State Taxes, and Mansoor Aslam Chowdhary, who has taken over as Special Secretary of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs.
