Siemens Caring Hands delivers critical aid to Vietnam’s typhoon survivors
A formal handover ceremony took place in Hanoi on November 26 to transfer vital humanitarian aid to the Vietnam Red Cross Society. The support comes from Siemens Caring Hands, a programme with a long history of assisting Vietnam in times of need.
The donated aid will directly assist communities still recovering from Typhoon Bualoi and Typhoon Matmo. Both storms hit hard in late September and early October, leaving many areas struggling with damage and health risks.
This latest donation builds on Siemens Caring Hands’ earlier contributions, including medical equipment provided in 2021. The aid will now focus on improving hygiene and sanitation for typhoon-affected populations. The partnership between Siemens and the Vietnam Red Cross Society continues to strengthen disaster response efforts.
