If you're a fan of collecting weapon skins and making your demonslaying experience even more impactful in Doom: The Dark Ages, then you're probably eager to get your hands on the Reverent Combat Shotgun skin from the Siege Breaker challenge in the Siege Part 1 mission. To unlock this badass skin, you need to locate and destroy four artillery cannons strategically placed across the map.
Uncovering the Artillery Cannons in Doom: The Dark Ages
With larger maps and an abundance of demons, tracking down secrets like artillery cannons in Doom: The Dark Ages can be quite the challenge. After spending countless hours scouring the Siege Part 1, we've uncovered the following locations:
Artillery Cannon Location #1
The first artillery cannon can be found atop a hill on the path leading to the gore portals in the map's upper left region, hidden behind a wooden barricade. To find it, simply follow the trails hugging the left side from the initial Sentinel Shrine, and you'll reach the barricade eventually.
Artillery Cannon Location #2
The second artillery cannon is nestled in a small fortified area on the map's upper left coast, close to the larger of the two gore portals. Be prepared for some intense combat as a large group of demons have taken up residence there.
Artillery Cannon Location #3
This cannon is situated between the map's first and top-right Sentinel Shrines, next to a pile of gold, which will be indicated when you're close by. To reach it, leave the first Sentinel Shrine, head towards the central path, but deviate to the right branch as you ascend the hill.
Artillery Cannon Location #4
Finally, this cannon is located in the marshy area on the map's far right side, directly outside the larger gore portal arena. Clear the surroundings first to make sure you can easily access and destroy the cannon.
