One of the locals, Chris (27), runs the popular restaurant "Jade Hibachi." Last week, he stumbled upon a bizarre note amongst some one-dollar bills in his tip jar.
"You're not gonna jail, you're not gonna jail, you're not gonna jail" – this phrase is repeated nineteen times in the note. Chris, still taken aback, cannot shake off the mystery surrounding this peculiar incident.
"Straight up, I thought I was getting raided. I was like 'oh man, this ain't good,'" Chris shared with Newsweek. Fortunately, that wasn't the case.
His wife Jess, who also works at the restaurant, agreed with his initial assessment: "He seemed like a normal customer, or at least that's what I thought!"
