Sheridan High School Volleyball team's fortunes have fluctuated in recent conference play. After winning against Cheyenne East in four sets, they needed five sets to secure victory in their rematch. Similarly, they initially won against Cheyenne Central in four sets but lost in five sets in their second encounter. Head Coach Danielle Sullivan noted instances where players' focus was lacking during these games. The team is scheduled to play at Laramie on Friday and at Cheyenne South on Saturday.
The Wyoming Cowboys football team, now 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the Mountain West Conference, won against San Jose State with a fourth-quarter comeback. Key plays were made by Brayden Johnson, Kaden Anderson, and Terron Kellman. Their next game is against Air Force, who despite a 1-5 overall record and 0-4 conference record, boast a strong offense but weak defense.
