US actress Shannen Doherty (52) disclosed a heartbreaking truth on the premier episode of the podcast "Let's Be Clear." The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star exposed that she discovered her husband, Kurt Iswarienko (49), had been cheating on her for quite some time, just before her brain tumor surgery.
The Crisis that Ended Their Love
Doherty revealed that the affair had reached its climax and ultimately led to the end of their 12-year marriage and 14-year relationship. She filed for divorce in April 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences."
A Betrayal in the Operating Room
On the day of her surgery, she learned of her husband's infidelity and decided against his company at the hospital. "I felt so betrayed. I wanted nothing to do with him," Doherty shared. Instead, she relied on the companionship of her mother, brother, best friend, and other loved ones.
Struggling with Blame
Although infidelity had always been an immediate reason for Doherty to consider leaving before, she grappled with the decision after learning about the affair. "I was so confused.
