Shaquille O'Neal Gifts Restored 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser to Kobe Bryant Family
Shaquille O'Neal, former teammate and friend of the late Kobe Bryant, has gifted the Bryant family a restored version of their 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser. The car was given new life in time for what would have been Bryant's 47th birthday.
O'Neal hired mechanic Jamar Clay from Effortless Motors to renovate the vehicle. The team worked diligently, meeting O'Neal's deadline of 90 days to complete the project. The car was restored to its original shape, with no flashy upgrades, preserving its classic charm.
Bryant, a legendary NBA player who spent his entire career with the Lakers, tragically died in a helicopter crash at the age of 41. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others also lost their lives. The vehicle, which was the Bryant family's car, was given new life as a tribute by O'Neal.
The renovated car was returned to the Bryant family, with Vanessa Bryant expressing happiness at its original appearance. O'Neal, deeply affected by Bryant's passing, saw this as a way to honour his friend's memory.
