Gear up for some serious weather shifts in Kuban, Krasnodar region as of late June! Meteorologists are predicting stormy skies and heavy downpours for the area. Hail could make an appearance, with winds potentially gusting up to 90 km/h!

Additional factors include a nearby cyclone at sea causing waterspouts and elevated mountain river water levels.

According to the Krasnodar Center for Hydrometeorology, the following areas may see increased water levels during this rainy spell: rivers in southwestern Kuban (Abinsky, Seversky, Krymsky districts, and Goryachy Klyuch), as well as rivers along the Black Sea coast from Anapa to Magri.

The storm is set to start as early as June 28, with thunderstorms expected in certain areas evenings, reaching its peak on June 29. The following workweek will kick off with more rain.

Temperature CheckThe incoming weather system will drop air temperatures. Expect a high of +30°C on June 28, but by the following day, it could drop to +20 to +25°C. On the Black Sea coast, temperatures will reach +28°C on Saturday and +24°C on Sunday.
