Shortly after, an 18-year-old from Jüchen driving a Ford lost control and veered off to the left, colliding with the BMW. The Ford overturned and came to rest on its left side in the grass verge. The 18-year-old driver and his 19-year-old passenger from Jüchen sustained minor injuries.
The accident investigation team was on the scene to secure the evidence. The carriageway was closed for approximately five hours while the team worked to gather information. Investigations are ongoing.
