Wednesday morning saw a series of unfortunate incidents on Federal Highway 2, leading to a substantial closure at the Burg Ost exit. The misfortune began with an articulated lorry obstructing both lanes due to an accident, as reported by the Magdeburg police. This unfortunate event led to a lengthy traffic jam. In the wake of the traffic jam, two more accidents occurred. In total, four articulated lorry combinations and two cars sustained damage, but thankfully, no one was injured.
