Seventeen, the popular South Korean boy band, has achieved remarkable success with their latest EP 'Hype Vibes'. The group is set to embark on a US tour starting October 11, following a successful Hong Kong show. All six tracks from the EP, including the lead single '5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman) (Feat. Lay Bankz)', have made it to Melon's Top 100.
The music video for '5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman) (Feat. Lay Bankz)' has gained significant traction, topping YouTube's trending music video chart. The EP itself has debuted at number one on real-time music charts both domestically and internationally.
The subunit S.Coups X Mingyu, formed by members S.Coups and Mingyu, has played a significant role in the EP's success. They participated in writing lyrics and melodies for all songs and reached number one on the iTunes album charts in 11 regions worldwide, including Japan, Thailand, and Singapore. The EP itself topped iTunes albums charts in 11 regions. Notably, the first EP from this subunit sold over 600,000 copies on its release day.
