Laura Prepon and Ben Foster Finalize Divorce, Sell Former Marital Home

Actress Laura Prepon and actor Ben Foster have finalized their divorce and sold their former marital home in Tennessee, marking the end of a six-year union that was reportedly acrimonious but lacked any verified public allegations of substance abuse.

The couple, known for their roles in popular television shows, quietly sold their $4 million mansion on July 28, 2025. The home, a 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom property spanning 6,170 square feet, was purchased by the ex-couple in March 2024 for $3.995 million and listed for sale in June 2025 at $4.245 million. The home was bought by an LLC named Infinity Rose, with Ben Foster listed as a member in Tennessee records.

The divorce deal was executed on April 14, 2025, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Laura Prepon was designated as the primary residential parent but will share physical and legal custody of their two children with Ben Foster. He will pay $5,500 a month in child support.

During the court battle, Prepon accused Foster of having issues with drinking. However, Foster adamantly denied these claims and stated in court documents that he had never been arrested for or faced any legal issues related to alcohol. His lawyer also mentioned that Prepon is known for enjoying her drinks.

Emily Neikman, another employee, wrote in an affidavit that she had found whiskey in coffee cups that Foster left in the children's rooms. Laura Vogel, another employee, wrote that Foster's inaction and absence indicated that being a father was not a priority for him. Vogel also observed Foster drinking alcohol when he was present.

Prepon, who became a household name for her role as Donna Pinciotti in the Fox sitcom That 70's Show, reprised her role in Netflix's sequel That 90's Show, which ran for two seasons from 2023 to 2024. Foster, on the other hand, will retain 100 percent of his business and all intellectual property in his name. He was awarded his 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 in the divorce settlement.

Laura Prepon, who has called herself "wine mommy" in the past, will receive $977,987 of the net proceeds from the sale, with the remaining balance being split evenly between the parties. Despite some media characterizing the divorce as messy, the couple's attempt at an amicable separation is evident in their quiet sale of the mansion. However, specific details about the custody agreement or any claims regarding alcohol problems have not been publicly disclosed or substantiated in the sources reviewed.

The sale of their $4 million mansion in Tennessee, previously a marital home for Laura Prepon and Ben Foster, underlines their commitment to maintaining a private separation despite media scrutiny. Meanwhile, the entertainment industry continues to follow the careers of both actors, with Prepon's reprisal of Donna Pinciotti in 'That 90's Show' and Foster's retention of all business and intellectual property.
