Fancy a whiff of adventure, whisked by the mighty winds and dancing on the cerulean eddies of the Danube? Mark your calendars, because on the 5th of July, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM, Segel- und Tennisclub Rot-Weiß Ingolstadt (STC) is throwing open its doors for an unmissable Open Day event!
Whether you're an experienced sailor or a novice, this day by the river offers something for everyone - from leisurely sailing sessions aboard Optimist and Laser boats, to lessons on deck knots, all the way up to witnessing the nail-biting regatta start at 1 PM. Get set to be captivated!
Find your way to the Seglerheim on the north bank of the Danube, west of the weir - it's as easy as finding "STCI" sign!

"Our piece of the Danube is something truly special," grins Matthias Wunderlich, the skipper of STC's sailing department. The sailing season has kicked off in style with victories at the Danuviuspokal, and there's plenty more thrilling sporting events to come, punctuated with congenial hours on our sun-soaked club terrace.

A Club for All Ages and Genres
STC Rot-Weiß boasts an impressive membership of around 640 individuals, counting 70 keen sailors among them. It's more than just a sailing club - it also sports tennis and archery!
Sprawling across a magnificent 75 hectares of water surface, the Danube region caters to sailors of all levels, from beginners to seasoned sailors. The modern marina provides 11 mooring spots on the pontoon, a dinghy buoy field, a slipway, and a west pier for regatta guests. Drop anchor at the idyllic Seglerheim, nestled within the Baggersee recreational area, at these coordinates: N48°44'57.3′′ E11°24'16.4′′.
