Servette’s Frick sidelined for three months with hip injury

Servette goalkeeper Jérémy Frick faces a long spell on the sidelines after suffering a hip injury. The setback comes just as he had regained his place as the team’s first-choice keeper. Frick was forced off in the 60th minute of a match against Grasshoppers. The injury will keep him out for three months, ruling him out of several key Super League fixtures. Before this setback, the goalkeeper had only recently returned to the starting line-up. He had replaced Joël Mall, who had taken over during Frick’s earlier absence. Servette must now adjust without their number one for the next three months. The club has not yet confirmed who will step in as his replacement or when Frick is expected to return to full training.
