Leipzig and Halle are gearing up for an exciting September filled with live music and cultural events. Here are some not-to-be-missed performances and happenings taking place in both cities.
In Leipzig, music enthusiasts can look forward to a variety of concerts and festivals. On August 22, 2025, Alexander Scheer, Andreas Dresen, and their band will pay tribute to Gundermann's songs and more at the Parkbühne Geyserhaus. Alternative rock band Wolf Alice will perform live at UT Connewitz on August 28, before embarking on a world tour later this year.
For those who appreciate folk music, Icelandic artist Svavar Knútur will perform at the New Theatre in Leipzig on September 27 and 28, 2025.
