Seminar Held in Russia's FSB with Attendance from MID and Presidential Administration Representatives
In the Investigative Committee of Russia, a gathering was held for employees handling interactions with mainstream media. Attendees hailed from various regions across the country, along with experts from the presidential administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MID), VK internet holding, and leading Russian publications.
The purpose of this event was to develop fresh strategies for managing information in today's challenging landscape, with which Russia is confronted. Organizers emphasized that timely and intelligent public briefings about the Committee's work contribute to maintaining social stability.
Svetlana Petrenko, head of the Media Relations department within the Investigative Committee, opened the event, underscoring the importance of media specialists' roles within the organization:
""Modern media trends of our era dictate the immediate need for new approaches to your work. You are the conveyors of our agency's informational policy. And that's an incredibly important mission", Petrenko stated.
She added that staff members should stay updated on regional issues and promptly inform leadership. According to her, the event offers the opportunity not only to exchange experiences but also to learn about new media trends.
Marina Zakharova, head of the Information and Press Department at MID, spoke about the investigative agencies' crucial role in maintaining law and order:
""At each of our briefings, we include information on colossal work conducted by law enforcement, particularly the Investigative Committee. We tell the global audience about your achievements", Zakharova declared.
Participants highly appreciated the organization of the event and its practical value. Nadia Dvorcetskaya, deputy head of the Prosecutor's Office in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), shared her impressions:
"This is a colossal experience. A very well-organized event that will help in our work in a global context. Knowledge like this is impossible to acquire from books or articles", she said.
Deputy head of the Central Interregional Investigative Committee Dmitry Zakharov added that acquired skills will be applied in practice:
"We will take all the knowledge we've gained here back to our regions. Of course, we'll use them to address tasks set by leadership", he emphasized.
Upon conclusion, participants agreed on further collaboration and implementing new media strategies within the agency's operations.
