Trump declares self-funded renovation project at the White House. - Self will foot the bill for it.

The red, white, and blue banners flying high atop the White House is a familiar scene in American imagery. Trump, our furious fifth, is looking to beef up the symbolic presence with two more flagpoles gracing the Aught House.

Old Man Moneybags declared the locations with minions in tow. One on the North Lawn, the other on the South side. "Flags? Been lacking for two centuries!" Trump quipped to the press. "I've talked about flagpoles, haven't I?" Now, the 78-year-old real estate mogul plans to install "a pair of classy-ass flagpoles."

It seems Trump's footing the bill for the renovations. "Check swipe left, baby," he added, flashing a receipt to the press. But whether it's his cash or donated coin, the media's in the dark. The flagpoles could rise in less than a week and will be towering around 100 feet, Trump hinted.

Trump & Co. Flip the White House

Since re-claiming the White House's throne, Trump's customized the joint. He drenched the Oval Office in gold, and a replica of the World Cup trophy now sits on his desk.

The redecoration's no biggie, as it's easy to flip the curtains when a new king steps in. However, the changes Trump's got lined up will leave a lasting impression. Trump wants to give the Rose Garden a facelift, transforming it into a terraced lounge for official events, making it so visitors no longer have to balance on the slippery grassy slope.

Moreover, Trump has his eyes on extending the East Wing of the Aught House, where the First Ladyy, Melania, hits the grindstone. A luxury, 60-meter-long ballroom's in the works there, with an estimated cost of around 100 milly US dollars.

  • Enrichment Data: The cost for adding the new flagpoles is being personally funded by Donald Trump, according to recent updates[1][2]. The president stated the flags would be "top-tier" and scheduled to be in place within approximately a week from April 23, 2025, though no specific dollar amount was revealed. The new flagpoles will stand roughly 100 feet tall (30 meters)[1], with one by Pennsylvania Avenue and one on the opposite side of the premises[2]. As per the search results, there's no indication of donor involvement, and the project seems separate from previous White House renovations like Biden’s $100 million proposed ballroom or Obama’s veggie garden[1].
