SEGG Media Celebrates Landmark Success as Official Live Streaming Partner of Super League Kerala

A new digital sports platform has made its mark with a major live-streaming deal in Indian football. Sports.com, launched in 2024, partnered with Super League Kerala (SLK) to broadcast its second season, reaching over 150 million viewers. The collaboration served as a key test for the platform’s capabilities while boosting the league’s global profile.

The partnership between SEGG Media and Super League Kerala began with the SLK Season 2 opener, which became the first major football match live-streamed on Sports.com. Over 77 days, 33 matches were broadcast across the platform’s app, website, and social channels. This beta event allowed SEGG to stress-test its technology while showcasing Kerala’s top football talent to a wider audience.

SEGG Media, listed on Nasdaq as SEGG and LTRYW, operates a range of digital assets, including Sports.com, Concerts.com, and Lottery.com. The company focuses on immersive fan experiences, ethical gaming, and AI-driven live content. Marc Bircham, SEGG’s Chairman and Director of Sports Acquisitions, called the SLK deal a pivotal moment for the brand. Mathew Joseph, CEO of Super League Kerala, praised the collaboration for increasing the league’s visibility and fan engagement. The success of this project aligns with SEGG’s plans to expand in India and the MENA region, adding three more sports genres to its lineup next year. By 2026, the company aims to grow its commercial streaming, sponsorship, and audience monetisation efforts.

The SLK-Sports.com partnership delivered 33 live matches to 150 million viewers, proving the platform’s potential. SEGG Media now plans to build on this success by expanding into new markets and sports categories. The deal also strengthens Super League Kerala’s position as a rising force in Indian football.
